Greening the Statehouse (GTS) is Indiana’s largest annual gathering of environmental-minded citizens! Melissa Mays, one of the most prominent advocates for clean water in the midst of the Flint, Michigan Water Crisis, will be our 9th Annual Keynote Speaker for Greening the Statehouse. Melissa’s and her colleagues’ tireless advocacy has been covered by numerous media outlets, including the New York Times, CNN, and BBC News.
A light breakfast, featuring Traders Point Creamery yogurt, granola from Indiana Hemp Industries Association, and organic bananas from Green BEAN Delivery, as well as lunch from Indy Pita Pit Downtown, will be served. Coffee will be provided by Strange Brew and water will be provided by Indy Soft Water – please bring your reusable coffee mugs and water bottles!
